I was in Colonial Williamsburg listening to a presentation on brick making when I became distracted by this rooster. I found myself being drawn into his antics as he proudly strutted about without a care in the world. He seemed to exude confidence and a command over the audience. (I wasn’t the only one who was drawn in.) I quietly exited the listening area to get a closer look. He seemed to revel in the extra attention and literally posed as I snapped away. There is something empowering about the way a rooster is in control of himself. The very essence of confidence.
