One of my favorite places is Assateaque island. I was lucky to be able to secure a seat on Captain Dan’s pony cruise. His cruises are guaranteed to see ponies and boy did he deliver on this day. We pulled up to an area where a band of ponies were grazing on the salt grasses. We were close enough to touch them (If only we had been allowed.) I took so many photos and this one spoke to me. This young guy took a momentary break from his grazing to pose for me. It was a magical experience.
